It also alerts you when a door is left open, when the refrigerator or freezer needs to be defrosted and when it’s time to change the filter.It would be great if GE PYE22PYNFS offered Precise fill the option that is available in a handful of GE refrigerators that allow users to select how many cups they want to disperse. Its freezer temperatures remained constant at just above 0° Fahrenheit and never fluctuated more than a fraction – this is crucial to avoid freezer burn. It would have been better if they came with a front-mounted handles.The LG Counter-Depth MAX is a good option for those looking to combine the benefits of a French-door refrigerator’s aesthetics with an efficient layout. Its capacity is higher than average for counter-depth models, and it cools evenly. It’s also a bit cheaper than the most expensive counter depth refrigerator that comes with an ice maker, which makes it an attractive option.Frigidaire Counter Depth French Door RefrigeratorThis Frigidaire French door refrigerator is a good option when you’re looking for a French door refrigerator that doesn’t cost a lot of budget. It’s a minimalist design that’s not as striking visually as some of the competition, but it has enough features to make it a good choice. Its most important feature is the adjustable temperature drawer that helps keep food items such as meat and vegetables fresher for longer. It also comes with a large water and ice maker dispenser.The “Chill Drawer”, which sits over the two crisper bins, is a excellent feature. The drawer lets you direct some of the fridge’s cooling power into this area, so it can be used to store food items which need extra attention. You can alter this feature by using the slider located on the outside of the drawer. You can also use this to adjust the general cooling settings for the whole fridge, however, I’ve found that changing the general settings tends be more effective than specific ones.In my tests, the refrigerator’s temperatures were fairly constant across the different areas of the refrigerator. Temperatures at the top and bottom of the fridge didn’t vary significantly from 38 degrees, and the middle of the fridge was within one degree of 36. This is a great performance however it doesn’t rank among the best in our rankings.This fridge has a few other neat features, including a temperature-monitoring display that alerts you to fluctuations and provides a forecast for the day ahead. This fridge can be connected with a smart thermostat in order to obtain more precise readings of the internal temperature of your fridge.The Frigidaire FGHB2866PF’s exterior is constructed of stainless steel with a grey-bodied body with a “smudge-proof” finish.
